Structure
Modules you will study
If you choose the part-time route, you will study 18 modules across 4.5 years.
Autumn
Appreciate how legal, political and social issues shape our sector and its role in the economy. Understand the project lifecycle and the RIBA Plan of Work. Identify the industry’s stakeholders and professions and your chosen profession’s key responsibilities in meeting client objectives.
Dive into the legal and regulatory requirements that relate to the construction and property sector, along with the legal environment in the context of planning, design and occupation and health and safety as it relates to both design and construction activity.
Develop a broader understanding of law and apply it to common eventualities on construction and building services projects. Gain the contractual knowledge required to deal on behalf of all parties associated with construction contracts, from inception to completion.
Develop specific research skills and techniques that allow you to investigate issues and situations related to your area of interest, and apply these to an industry-related problem. Gain analytical skills and learn techniques that will directly enhance your employability skills.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the professional and contemporary practices in quantity surveying by exploring a range of global industry issues and challenges. Explore the essential skills, knowledge, tools and sustainability advancements required in today’s environment.

學習方式

網上學習體驗
透過我們最先進的虛擬學習環境(VLE)所提供的一系列活動，你在UCEM的學習體驗將會被全力支援。你也可以登入並使用UCEM珍貴而全面的網上圖書館的資源，在你的學習過程中，為你提供豐富的特定學科材料。
你的學習會分為以下部分 (常規):
參與網上課堂及網上論壇
瀏覽影音教材及語音旁述簡報
完成連結課程的練習及小測
閱讀教科書及學術論文，開拓與學科有關的專業知識。
籌備及撰寫作業
每個佔20學分的科目相當於總共 200 個學習小時，學習模式包括網上學習、自主學習及課業評估。
評估類型包括課程作業（例如論文、報告、作品集、學習回饋以及電腦批改作業(CMAs)），實際評估的項目組合會根據各個科目所需調整。
你的投入時間
選擇兼讀制
如果你選擇兼讀制，並打算在每個學期（六個月之內）修讀兩個科目，我們期待你每週完成 15-20 小時的學習歷程。
全日制
若果你選擇全日制，並打算在每個學期（六個月之內）修讀三個科目，我們期待你每週完成 25-35 小時的學習歷程。

入學要求
課程開始時你必須年滿 18 歲。
一般入學要求
英國的大學入學分數（UCAS Tariff points） 達到96分 （例如：HKDSE 三科獲得4級成績），你可以在 http://ucas.com/tariff 查閱相應的分數是否達標。
申請學生持有以下同等學歷，同樣符合入學要求：
- 副學士學位
- 高級文憑
- 專業文憑
UCEM 所有課程皆以英語教授及評估，因此除了上述列出的入學要求，所有申請學生在被錄取之前，必須表現出達標的英語溝通能力。
你應該具備以下其中一項：
- 雅思（International English Language Testing System, IELTS） 考獲5.5級或以上，並於閱讀及寫作分卷至少取得5.5級；以及具備如下所列的相關數學資格；
- 取得於香港大學或香港城市大學以英語授課和評估之副學位課程（相當於5級）資格，以及具如下所列的相關數學資格；
- 於香港中學文憑 （HKDSE）取得以下成績：英文科考獲3級或以上、數學科取得2級或以上；
- 於香港中學會考 （HKCEE）取得以下成績：英文科考獲D級或以上（僅限Syllabus B 試題）、數學考獲E級或以上；
- 於香港高級程度會考（HKALE）取得以下成績：英文科考獲E級或以上 （「高級程度」及「高級補充程度」）、數學科考獲D級以上 （「高級程度」）。
尚未達到以上入學要求？
申請學生倘若尚未達到上述入學要求，但仍然希望修讀本課程，也應該嘗試報讀。這類申請將會視乎個別情況作考量，如有疑問歡迎致電我們進一步了解。
所有申請是根據 UCEM Code of Practice on Admissions and Recognition of Prior Learning進行評估。

2025/26 學年
每個科目 £1,545，合共 18個科目（兼讀制學生每個學期一般會修讀兩個科目，全日制學生每個學期一般會修讀三個科目）。
